Defence Secretary visits Defence Services College, Colombo
The Defence Secretary, General (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne visited the Defence Services College, Colombo on 05th April 2021. The occasion was also joined by Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne.
During this visit, General (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne inspected the work in progress of new college hostel and instructed to complete the ongoing construction as soon as possible. Visiting the primary and secondary sections of the college, he also inspected the common facility building and administrative building of the Defence Services College.
Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, Commander of the Air Force, College Director, the Principal, officers from tri services and Police and officials from the Ministry of Education were present on this occasion.
