Boossa COVID-19 Intermediate Care Centre receives financial aid for facility improvement

'Daham Pahana' Foundation provided financial aid worth Rs. 01 million to Sri Lanka Navy on 13th September 2021, for further expansion of infrastructure at the navy –managed COVID-19 Intermediate Care Centre in Boossa.

This Intermediate Care Centre was established by the Navy at SLNS Nipuna, Boossa in support of the Government's programme to expand facilities required for the treatment of COVID-19 infected individuals. Since its establishment, a number of organizations and institutes have contributed to this timely initiative with a wide range of monetary and material aid. In a similar vein, 'Daham Pahana' Foundation made this financial support for the benefit of COVID-19 patients receiving treatment at this Intermediate Care Centre and it was received by Commander Southern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Prasanna Hewage at the Kaluwella Catholic Church on 13th September.

Bishop of Galle Rt. Rev. Raymond Wickramasinghe, Mr. Sunil Kekulandara – a member of 'Daham Pahana' Foundation, his wife and a limited number of individuals were present on this occasion.
