Eastern Naval Command conducts Kanchuka Puja at Mangala Raja Maha Viharaya, Seruwawila

A Kanchuka Puja organized by the Eastern Naval Command, to invoke blessings on naval personnel attached to the Command, was held at the Mangala Raja Maha Viharaya, Seruwawila on 05th February 2022.

The spiritual ceremony was held under the counsel of the Chief Incumbent of Mangala Raja Maha Viharaya, Ven. Aladeniye Pangngadewa Thero and the event was conducted by 21 members of Maha Sangha, in compliance with Buddhist rituals.

The event was held in accordance with COVID-19 protocols due to pandemic concerns. Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Sanjeewa Dias and a group of naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command were present on the occasion.
