Commander of the Navy meets with Inspector General of Police
Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera met with the Inspector General of Police, CD Wickramaratne at the Police Headquarters in Colombo today (05th January 2022).
The visiting Commander of the Navy was welcomed warmly by the Inspector General of Police, upon his arrival. During the ensuing discussion, the Inspector General of Police, CD Wickramaratne congratulated Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera for his well-deserved elevation to the zenith of his naval career.
The cordial discussion between them mainly focused on several matters of mutual interests and cooperation between the two organizations when dealing with law and order, security challenges and thwarting other nefarious activities.
The maiden official interaction between them came to a close with an exchange of mementoes, marking the importance of this occasion.
