Newly appointed Commandant National Defence College calls on Commander of the Navy

The newly appointed Commandant of National Defence College, Major General Senarath Yapa (Retd) called on the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera at the Navy Headquarters today (19th June 2023).

As per customary protocol, the recently appointed Commandant of the National Defence College paid a visit to the Navy Headquarters and met with the Navy Chief. During this interaction, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera congratulated Major General Senarath Yapa (Retd) on his new role as the Commandant National Defence College. They also exchanged views on several matters of general concern.

The cordial discussion drew to a close with an exchange of mementoes, as a symbol of cooperation and goodwill.
