Sri Lanka Navy marks 74th Anniversary with blood donation drive in Trincomalee

To commemorate the Sri Lanka Navy's 74th Anniversary, a blood donation drive was held at the Naval Hospital in Trincomalee on 05th December 2024.

As part of the celebrations scheduled for 09th December, the Navy has prioritized community service and religious activities.

Organized under the guidance of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, and the supervision of Deputy Chief of Staff and Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Damian Fernando, the initiative reflected the Navy’s commitment to social responsibility.

The event witnessed remarkable participation, with 284 personnel from the Eastern Naval Command donating blood to support this lifesaving effort.
