Southeastern Naval Command joins in New Year festivities

The Southeastern Naval Command celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year festivals (Bak Maha Ulela) with great fervor at SLNS Mahanaga on 15 Apr 25 and SLNS Deegayu on 18 Apr 25, under the patronage of the Commander Southeastern Naval Area.

The event, rich in cultural traditions, joyful activities and tournaments of cricket and volleyball, brought together officers, sailors and their families as well as the community in the area for a day of fun and festivity.
