Navy revitalizes learning environments at trio of schools in Ampara
Demonstrating its continued commitment to social responsibility and empowerment, the Sri Lanka Navy conducted conducive environmental enhancement initiatives at 03 schools in Ampara on 20, 22 and 28 Apr 25.The programmes were launched as part of the “Clean Sri Lanka” initiatives, centered on the theme "A School Full of Happiness.”
Consequently, RMK Girls’ Vidyalaya in Karaitivu, MHM Ashraff Vidyalaya in Sainthamaruthu and AL – Hussain Vidyalaya in Karaitivu were transformed with a clean, nurturing, and safe learning environment by the Southeastern Naval Command. The initiatives at respective schools implemented to foster environmental awareness and cleanliness were conducted with the support of the school community and parents.
These efforts are part of the nationwide campaign to improve school facilities and their environmental conditions. So far, 42 schools across the country have been revitalized under this programme by the Navy.
