Tri-Forces Commanders attended special discussion with visiting Japanese Minister of Defence

The Japanese Minister of Defence, Hon. Nakatani Gen, embarked on an official visit to Sri Lanka. Following their arrival at the Defence Headquarters Complex in Sri Jayawardanepura, Kotte, on 04 May 25, a special meeting with the Japanese delegation took place, attended by the Commander of the Navy and the Commanders of the Sister Services.

As part of their official visit, the Japanese delegation with a group of senior naval officers paid tribute to their fallen Japanese compatriots, joining a memorial ceremony honouring Japanese nationals who lost their lives in Sri Lanka during World War II.
