Navy steps up for humanity with blood donation campaigns

In a yet another heartwarming act of social responsibility, the Sri Lanka Navy organized two blood donation campaigns on 11 Jun 25 at the Naval Hospital of SLNS Nipuna, Boossa and SLNS Kanchadewa in Kayts.

These blood donation drives were organized under the supervision of the Southern and Northern Area Commanders, honouring the commitment made by naval veterans, bring peace to the nation. The generous initiatives were carried out in partnership with the Blood Banks of the National Hospital in Galle and the Teaching Hospital in Jaffna, aiming to boost the blood reserves at both facilities.

A significant number of naval personnel from the Southern and Northern Naval Commands enthusiastically volunteered to donate blood, reinforcing the Navy’s dedication to serving the community.
