Navy General Hospital receives medical equipment to strengthen services
In a significant boost to healthcare services for naval personnel, the Navy received a consignment of medical equipment at the Navy General Hospital, Welisara on 17 Jun 25. The contribution was made by the Hospital Services Council under the leadership of its director, the Most Venerable Rajawelle Subhuthi Thero.
The new equipment will be distributed among the Navy General Hospital and Command Naval Hospitals across the country. This initiative aims to enhance medical facilities and ensure better healthcare services for serving and retired naval personnel as well as their dependents.
Director General Health Services of the Navy, Surgeon Rear Admiral Janaka Marambe and a group of senior officers were present on this occasion.
