Rajanganaya sluice gate back in operation with Navy assistance

The Sri Lanka Navy extended vital diving assistance on 15 and 16 Aug 25 to restore the inoperative sluice gate of the Rajanganaya Reservoir in Anuradhapura.

Accordingly, a diving team from the Northwestern Naval Command was swiftly deployed for the task, following a request from the Disaster Management Centre.

The Navy divers undertook extensive efforts to restore the sluice gate to working condition.
