PNS SAIF delivers humanitarian aid to affected communities in Sri Lanka
Demonstrating an enduring maritime partnership and humanitarian commitment, the Pakistan Navy has delivered a significant consignment of relief materials to communities in Sri Lanka affected by recent severe weather.
The supplies were delivered on 28 Nov 25 by the Pakistan Naval Ship (PNS) SAIF, which was in Sri Lanka to participate in an International Fleet Review (IFR). The aid is intended to assist victims of the adverse weather conditions.
Coordinated by the High Commission of Pakistan in Sri Lanka, the occasion was attended by the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Jagath Kumara and the Commanding Officer of PNS SAIF, Captain Asfand Farhan Khan.
