Navy delivers aid to weather-isolated Kothmale villages

The Sri Lanka Navy today (04 Dec 25) delivered humanitarian aid to three villages distressed by adverse weather in the Kothmale area.

With road access to the villages of Rambodagala, Paluwatta, and Panangammana blocked, a naval team transported essential dry rations and supplies across the Kotmale Reservoir. The operation successfully provided relief to approximately 350 affected families.

This mission was part of the Navy's ongoing, island-wide effort to support communities impacted by recent adverse weather, demonstrating its commitment to national disaster response.
