Naval personnel roll up sleeves to save lives through blood donation

The Sri Lanka Navy conducted a blood donation campaign at the Naval Hospital of the Northern Naval Command on 06 Dec 25. The initiative was organized as part of the Navy’s 75th anniversary commemorations, which encompass a series of programmes that highlight the organisation’s commitment to social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and ethical values.

Naval personnel from the Northern Naval Command volunteered to donate blood in this programme organized to bolster blood reserves at transfusion centres of the Teaching Hospital, Jaffna and Base Hospital, Thelippale.
