Navy’s blood donation drive replenishes Mannar reserves

In a commendable act of service, Navy personnel from the Northwestern Naval Command volunteered to donate blood at a donation campaign held on 15 Dec 25, at the Naval Hospital in the Northwestern Naval Command.

Organized as part of the ongoing celebrations for the Navy’s 75th anniversary, this initiative underscored the organization’s enduring commitment to social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and ethical values. The programme was organized to bolster the vital blood reserves at the transfusion centre in Mannar, contributing to community healthcare needs.
