Navy delivers essential medical care to Palali community

As part of its 75th-anniversary commemorative events, the Sri Lanka Navy organized a mobile medical and dental clinic at the Government Tamil Mixed School, Palali North, on 23 Dec 25. This initiative fell under a series of religious, environmental, and social welfare programmes conducted by the Navy, reflecting its commitment to social responsibility and community wellbeing.

The clinic, successfully executed by the Navy Medical and Dental Departments in close collaboration with the Northern Provincial Ministry of Health, provided comprehensive healthcare services to the local community. Medical personnel offered specialized care across a wide range of disciplines and mobile laboratory facilities for blood testing.

In a concurrent social welfare effort, the Navy distributed essential school supplies and stationery to two hundred (200) school children in the area.
