Navy's expertise delivers safe drinking water to Rideemaliyadda

In continuation of its commitment towards enhancing public health and community welfare, a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant (01), set up by the Sri Lanka Navy, was declared open for ommunity use on 13 Jan 26 at the Community Hall premises of Koleyaya in Rideemaliyadda, Badulla.

This was realised under the Naval Social Responsibility (NSR) project, leveraging the technical expertise and manpower of the Navy, with initiatives by the Ministry of Health and financial sponsorship by the Presidential Secretariat.

Moreover, this project of the Navy reached its 1147th milestone with the opening of the new facility. The newly operational plant will reliably provide clean drinking water for a significant number of residents in the area.
