Strengthening command readiness of prospective Commanding Officers

The Pre Command Training Course No 14 concluded with a certificate awarding ceremony at the Naval and Maritime Academy in Trincomalee on 23 Jan 26. The culminating ceremony was held under the patronage of the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda, at the invitation of the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Commodore Danesh Pathberiya.

The course has been comprehensively designed to enhance the professional skills and leadership readiness of prospective Commanding Officers of naval ships.

During the proceedings, the Navy Commander awarded certificates to the officers who successfully completed the training programme. Commemorating the occasion, the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet presented a memento to the Commander of the Navy.
