Navy's fighting spirit shines, secures medal haul at National Taekwondo Kyorugi Championship

The Sri Lanka Navy delivered a noteworthy performance at the National Taekwondo Kyorugi Championship - 2026, securing a total of 09 medals and showcasing martial prowess. The championship, organized by the Sri Lanka Taekwondo Federation, was held from 23 to 25 Jan 26 at the Sports Ministry Indoor Stadium in Wathupitiwala.

The event featured strong competition from athletes representing the Tri-Services, the Police, and renowned Taekwondo clubs across the island.

Competing in both individual and team events, the Navy Taekwondo team demonstrated remarkable skill, winning two (02) gold medals, three (03) silver medals, and four (04) bronze medals.
