U.S. Department of Energy delegation visits CBRN facilities of the Navy

A delegation from the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) conducted official visits to the Sri Lanka Navy’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Units and the Special Boat Squadron (SBS) headquarters. Spanning from 27 to 30 Mar 26, the visits focused on observing the operational proficiency, maintenance standards, and technical expertise of naval personnel in utilizing advanced nuclear smuggling detection equipment previously provided by them.
