New Pakistan High Commissioner to Sri Lanka meets with Commander of the Navy
Visiting the Navy Headquarters, the newly appointed High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, H.E. Major General Nayyar Naseer, HI (M), (Retd) met with the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Kanchana Banagoda today (29 Apr 26).
The occasion marked the first official interaction between the two dignitaries since Major General Nayyar Naseer, HI (M), (Retd) assumed his office in Colombo. The Navy Commander also extended best wishes to the High Commissioner on his new appointment.
During the ensuing cordial discussion, the High Commissioner and the Navy Commander deliberated on several matters of bilateral importance, highlighting the strong relations that exist between the two maritime nations.
To mark the significance of this inaugural meeting, mementoes were also exchanged between them, symbolizing the enduring goodwill and partnership.
