Hope flows in Anuradhapura with 02 new RO plants

In a significant step towards ensuring access to clean drinking water, 02 Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants were declared open at Heenukkiriyawa in Kekirawa and Sri Bodhirukkaramaya in Nawakkulama, Anuradhapura on 04 Apr 25. These initiatives, spearheaded by the Sri Lanka Navy's Research and Development Unit, are part of the Naval Social Responsibility (NSR) Project, which continues to make a positive impact.

These events honoured the late Chief Incumbent, the Most Venerable Brahmanawaththe Dhammakiththi Tissa Thera, and marked the 64th birthday of the temple’s present Chief Incumbent and Northern Province Chief Sanganayake, the Most Venerable Navadagala Padumakiththi Tissa Thera.

JMSDF & SLN unite for a cleaner coast
