The insignia awarding ceremony of the 11th Rapid Response Rescue and Relief Squadron (4RS) course was held at the Rapid Action Boat Squadron (RABS) Headquarters at Gangewadiya on 28th July 2014.

As part of the Sri Lanka Navy’s Community Development and Social Responsibility Project, the North Western Naval Command conducted two field medical clinics and the eye clinic in the Mannar district and Puttalam district. One medical clinic was held at the Roman Catholic Tamil Mixed School, Kayakkuli in the Mannar district, and the other was held at the Sri Ashokaramaya in Maduragamain in the Puttalam district on 26th July 2014.
