SLN Facilitates Repatriation Of 20 Released Sri Lankan Fishermen

Sri Lanka Navy facilitated the repatriation of 20 Sri Lanka fishermen who were released in accordance with the discussions between the governments of Sri Lanka and India. The fishermen with ten fishing boats were taken over from Indian Coast Guard Ship “Vaibhav” at the International Maritime Boundary Line off Kalpitiya on 26^th January 2014. Sri Lanka Navy Ship “Ranadheera” and patrol craft P 421 assisted the humanitarian mission.
