Naval Troops Arrest 03 Persons Illegally Transporting Timber

Naval troops attached to SLNS Vijaya of the North Western Naval Command with the assistance of Kalpitiya Police arrested 03 persons illegally transporting timber in the general area of Kuringipitti-Kurusupadu on 10^th February 2014. Six Kohomba logs, 02 Akeshia logs, a chain saw and the truck used for the illegal act were handed over to Kalpitiya Police for further investigations
