Navy’s quick action stops Fire at Galle Fisheries Harbour

Naval troops attached to SLNS Dakshina of the Southern Naval Command prevented the spread of a fire that had broken out in the wheel house of a fishing trawler berthed at the Galle Fisheries Harbour Pier around 8 pm on 28th March 2014.

Navy's quick action was able to prevent damage from the fire to other fishing trawlers at the fisheries harbour.
