Naval arrests eleven persons engaged in illegal fishing

Naval troops attached to SLN Dockyard of the Eastern Naval Command arrested eleven persons and 03 FGDs engaged in illegal fishing using prohibited fishing gear in the seas off Norway Island in Trincomalee on 21^st May 2014.

The arrested persons were handed over to the Trincomalee harbour Police for further investigations.
