Navy’s quick action stops fire at Kudawella Fisheries Harbour

Naval troops attached to SLNS Ruhuna of the Southern Naval Command prevented the spread of a fire that had broken out at the Kudawella Fisheries Harbour around 01.30 pm on 26^th May 2014 destroying 03 fishing trawlers.

Navy's quick action was able to prevent further damage from the fire to other fishing trawlers berthed at the fisheries harbour.
