Naval troops arrest 04 persons for illegally felling trees

Naval troops attached to SLNS Uttara of the Northern Naval Command on information received arrested 04 persons engaged in illegally felling trees in the Iranamadu forest reserve in Chundikulam on 05^th June 2014. The arrested persons along with a haul of 13 Palu logs, an axe and a tractor used for the illegal act were handed over to Dharmapuram Police for legal action.
