Naval Troops apprehended Explosives

Naval Personnel attached to SLNS Thambapanni of the North Western Naval Command on information received recovered 10 kilograms of Gelignite (100 Sticks), 500 numbers non electric detonators and 15 feet two safety fuse rolls with one person in the general area of Anuradhapura on 13^th June 2014. The arrested person with the explosives were handed over to Anuradhapura Police for further investigations.
