Naval troops apprehend a load of illicit timber
 

Naval troops attached to SLNS Barana of the North Western Naval Command with assistance of Wild Life Officers in the area on information received apprehended a load of Palu timber in the general area of Mullikulam in Mannar on 31^st July 2014.

The apprehended timbers were handed over to the Wild Life Officer - Wilpattu (North) in Mannar for further investigations.
