Sri Lanka Navy assists repatriation of 36 Indian Fishermen
 
 

Sri Lanka Navy assisted the repatriation of 36 Indian fishermen released from Sri Lankan custody. They were handed over to the Indian Coast Guard Ship “Rani Avantibai” in the seas off Thalai-mannar at the International Maritime Boundary Line on 02^nd October 2014.

Naval patrol craft attached to North Central Naval Command were deployed for the humanitarian mission.
