Navy arrests 07 fishermen with 04 FGDs engaged in illegal fishing

Naval craft attached to the Eastern Naval Command on routine patrol arrested 15 fishermen with 04 FGDs engaged in illegal fishing in the seas North of Pigeon Island in Trincomalee on 05th October 2014.

The arrested persons along with illegal fishing gear were handed over to the Trincomalee harbour police for further investigations.
