Navy arrests 08 persons with 286 Beche-der-mer
 

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Kanchadewa of the Northern Naval Command on information received arrested 08 persons with 286 Beche-der-mer in the general area of Thuraiur in Jaffna on 02nd June 2015. Three under water torches and 05 face masks were also taken into naval custody.

The arrested persons with the items were handed over to the Fisheries Inspector (Velani) for further action.
