Navy arrests two persons with 590 kilograms of shark fins
 

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Barana in Mullikulam and Therapuththa in Silawathura of the North Western Naval Command on information received arrested two persons with approximately 590 kilograms of shark fins whilst transferring in the seas off Kondachchikuda in the early hours of 11^th June 2015.

The arrested persons along with the items and the FGD used for the transfer were handed over to Silawathura Police for further investigations.
