Navy arrests a person with 8,506 conch shells

Naval troops attached to SLNS Pussadewa of the North Central Naval Command on information received arrested a person with illegally collected 8,506 conch shells in Vankalai on 19^th June 2015. The arrested person along with the recovered items was handed over to the fisheries Inspector in Mannar for further investigations.
