The third medical clinic, as a part of a series of medical clinics being conducted for the children of naval preschools under the patronage of the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, was held on 30th & 31st March at SLNS Tissa Trincomalee.

Under the guidance of the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, arrangements are in place to conduct a series of medical clinics for the children of naval preschools which are operated under the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit.

As per the guidance of the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne a dairy cow which is destined to be slaughtered gets its life back as a result of this meritorious deed by the President.

Under the guidance of the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, arrangements are in place to conduct medical clinics for the children of naval preschools which are operated under Navy Seva Vanitha Unit.

The children of Naval War Heroes were awarded with scholarships during a ceremony held at the Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake Auditorium, SLNS Parakrama today (16).

Thirteen (13) Spouces of Naval personnel received certificates for the successful completion of the beauty culture course initiated by a concept of the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, at the beauty parlour of SLNS Tissa on 13th February.

Members of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), under able guidance of its President Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, organized a timely Dharma Deshana Programme at SLNS Gemunu in Welisara today (17).

A farewell function organized to appreciate the service of Mrs. Renu Jayasekara who has been an active member of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), was held at the Wardroom premises in SLNS Parakrama on 7th February 2017.

Following a concept of the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, school supplies were distributed among the children studying at the Kokkuvil Junior School in Vakarai, Batticaloa yesterday (24).

The President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne presided over the Annual General Meeting of the NSVU, held at the Wardroom premises of SLNS Parakrama on 18th January 2017.
