The Navy shooting athletes recorded many wins at the Sweep & Shoot 2024 Two Gun Championship, held at the Navy Small – bore Firing Range Complex in Welisara from 12th to 14th January 2024.

Sri Lanka Navy medalists in international sports events met with the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera at the Navy Headquarters on 16th January 2024. Recognizing the exceptional international sporting accomplishments of Navy athletes that have brought honour to the nation, the Commander of the Navy who is also the President of Navy Sports Board awarded them significant cash prizes.

Sri Lanka Navy riders showcased their prowess in Mahameruwa Supercross which was organized by the Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Riders (SLARDAR) on 14th January 2024 in Giriulla.

The Sir Lanka Navy’s Ordinary Seaman Chalitha Pushpika has qualified to represent Sri Lanka in the Orion Group 37th Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship, to be held from 31st January to 03rd February 2024 at the Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The Navy women's weightlifting team clinched the co-championship title at the National Weightlifting Championship held from 27th to 30th December 2023 at the National Sports Complex, Gallalla in Polonnaruwa. In a thrilling display of strength and determination, Navy’s Woman Able Seaman BC Priyanthi went on to set three (03) national records in the tournament.

The Sri Lanka Navy emerged triumphant in the Open Mixed Doubles event of the 77th National Table Tennis Championship, organized by the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka. The tournament was held at the Kandy Municipal Council Indoor Stadium on 16th and 17th December 2023.

In a display of strength and power, Navy athletes showed their colours at the Sri Lanka Master Bodybuilding Championship, Mr. Hercules Top 10, Youth Junior & Physique Men/Women Championship – 2023. The event, held at the Western Province Aesthetic Resort at Colombo on 15th December 2023, showcased the prowess of naval bodybuilders against competitors from renowned sports clubs.

In a thrilling display of athleticism and teamwork, the Navy Inter-Command Basketball Tournament reached its culmination at the Commander Parakrama Samaraweera Memorial Indoor Sports Complex in Welisara, spanning from the 06th of November to the 02nd of December 2023. The men’s championship of the tournament was clinched by the Training Command, while the Western Naval Command secured the women’s championship.

Sri Lanka Navy canoe sprint team won the runner-up title in the open men's event at the 07th National Canoe Sprint Championship – 2023 held from 30th November to 02nd December at Diyawanna Lake, Battaramulla. The final day of the championship was graced by Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, as the Chief Guest.
