Navy – made thalassemia infusion system gifted to a child in need
At the directives of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera, the Navy provided a thalassemia infusion system to a child suffering from inherited blood disorder. Accordingly, the donation was made by Commander Southern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Harindra Ekanayake to that child from Julampitiya in Meegasara, at the Malima reception Hall and Naval leave centre, Tangalle today (06th January 2023).
