Sri Lanka Navy marches in pride at national celebration of 78th Independence Day
The 78th National Independence Day ceremony of Sri Lanka was held at the Independence Square, Colombo this morning (04 Feb 26). The main ceremony went by the theme “Rebuilding Sri Lanka”, was held under the patronage of the President and Commander – in – Chief of the Armed Forces, Hon. Anura Kumara Dissanayake. Filled with great pride, the Sri Lanka Navy added glamour to the elegant national spectacle held in a dignified sequence.

Navy’s 1148th RO plant declared open to ensure access for safe and healthy drinking water
In continuation of its commitment towards enhancing public health and community welfare, a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant (01), set up by the Sri Lanka Navy, was declared open for community use on 29 Jan 26 in the village of Aralaganwila in Dimbulagala, Polonnaruwa.
