Another group who had completed quarantine period in the quarantine centre established by Navy at Boosa Naval Base, left the center after successful completion of their quarantine process, today (06^th April 2020).

Another blood donation campaign jointly organized by Naval Deployment – Hambantota and Blood Transfusion Unit of the District General Hospital Hambantota was held with the participation of naval personnel at the Hambantota hospital premises on 05^th April 2020.

In assistance to the government’s line up to elude the stress of the people who stay at homes in the districts which have been declared by the government as risk zones to coronavirus, Sri Lanka Navy conducted a musical programme on 05^th April 2020,

As a preventive measure of the spreading of novel coronavirus in the country, more disinfection programmes were conducted by Sri Lanka Navy during 3^rd to 5^th April 2020, at Colombo National Hospital, Colombo North Teaching Hospital-Ragama and Bank premises in Colombo Fort area.

The Navy apprehended 02 persons for breaking curfew regulations at the roadblock erected near the junction of Muhudu Maha Vihara, Arugam Bay on 04^th April 2020.

The Navy, on 03^rd April 2020, rendered assistance to transfer essential supplies to the Delft Island for distribution among community. As a measure to curb the spread of novel coronavirus in the country, the government introduced a new mechanism to deliver essential supplies to the doorstep of community.

Sri Lanka Navy, as part of its Naval Social Responsibility (NSR) project, conducted a programme today (04^th April 2020) to distribute dry rations among inmates of ‘Mithuru Mithuro’ Rehab Centre, who are facing hardships following the COVID-19 outbreak.

As an extension of the programmes conducted by the Navy to control the spread of coronavirus in the country, several programmes were carried out at Colombo North Teaching Hospital premises in Ragama during past few days.

Navy apprehended two persons with 34kg of beef in two occasions and two persons travelled on a motor bike breaching curfew, during a foot patrol carried out in Arugambay area, today (3^rd April 2020).
