Several programmes of the Sri Lanka Navy’s beach cleaning effort were held at the beaches of Hambantota, Panama, Baththalangunduwa and Trincomalee on 31^st January 2020.

The Navy apprehended a person with about 2kg and 500g of Kerala cannabis, during a coordinated search conducted with the Police in Kilinochchi on 01^st February 2020.

The Navy managed to seize over half a ton of Kerala cannabis during successful operations conducted in northern seas during the past 36 hours.
