Two Japanese ships “Kaga” and “Inazuma” belonging to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) which arrived in Sri Lanka on 30th Sep. left the Colombo harbour today (4th October) on successful completion of their goodwill visit.

Rear Admiral Tatsuya Fukuda, the Commander Escort Flotilla Four of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) in association with the Commanding Officers of the JMSDF ships ‘Kaga’ and ‘Inazuma’, Captain Hideki Mizuta and Commander Yuki Ochimizu, who arrived in Sri Lanka on 30th September, met the Commander Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne at the Western Naval Command Headquarters yesterday (01st October).

A workshop, organized by the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization for the benefit of judges, was held at the auditorium of the Southern Naval Command on 29th September.
