The Navy men's handball team emerged victorious in the Eagle's Cup Handball Challenge Trophy held at the National Youth Center Indoor Stadium, Maharagama from 06th to 09th November 2023.

Sri Lanka Navy Inter-Command Swimming and Water Polo Championship was held at the swimming pool of SLNS Gemunu from 02nd to 04th November 2023. In a thrilling display of aquatic prowess, the Northern Naval Command emerged triumphant in the men's swimming championship. Meanwhile, the Training Command demonstrated their unparalleled skill in the women's swimming championship. The Eastern and Western Naval Commands dominated the water polo arena, claiming the men's and women’s championships respectively, with a display of tactical brilliance.

The Sri Lanka Navy celebrated a momentous victory as Leading Seaman SMASM Subasinghe showcased his talent by securing the bronze medal in the men’s 400 meters event at the 4th Asian Para Games held in Hangzhou, China on 28th October 2023.

The Navy Inter-Command Tug of War Championship was successfully held at SLNS Pandukabhaya in Poonewa on 20th and 21st of October 2023. The men’s championship of the tournament was won by the Training Command, while the women’s championship was won by the Western Naval Command.

In a spectacular display of skill and teamwork, the Navy women’s team emerged as the champions of the Premier Women's Futsal Tournament – 2023. The tournament was held at the CFC Futsal Court, Dehiwala on 15th October 2023.

The Navy boxing team secured multitude of medals in the highly competitive Layton Cup Boxing Tournament held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo from 01st to 04th October 2023.

The 12th Defence Services Shooting Championship was held at the Naval Small Bore Firing Complex, Welisara from 17th to 24th September 2023. The competition witnessed the Navy's marksmen and markswomen excel in various categories, securing top positions and earning accolades for their exceptional performances.

The Navy Inter-Command Volleyball Championship - 2023 which held from 17th to 21st September 2023 concluded in a spectacular fashion at the Commander Parakrama Samaraweera Memorial Indoor Stadium, SLNS Gemunu. The North Central Naval Command emerged as the champions in the men's category and in the women's category, the Western Naval Command displayed their dominance.

The 12th Defence Services Cricket Championship was held at the Sri Lanka Air Force Cricket Ground in Katunayake on 05th September 2023. In the final showdown, the Sri Lanka Navy secured the runner-up title in men’s cricket championship.

The Inter Command Cycling Championship - 2023 concluded with immense success at SLNS Thambapanni on 30th August. The thrilling event saw intense competition among cyclists from various commands, where the men’s championship was secured by the Eastern Naval Command and the women’s championship was won by the Training Command. The Deputy Area Commander of Northwestern Naval Area, Commodore Thushara Udugama graced the closing ceremony of Inter Command Cycling Championship as the Chief Guest.
