Navy Inter-command Volleyball Championship-2020
The Sri Lanka Navy Inter-command Volleyball Championship-2020 worked off at SLNS Thambapanni in Northwestern Naval Command from 01st to 07th March. Large number of Volleyball players from all naval commands represented this year’s championship and men’s championship was won by the Training Command while the Afloat Command secured the runners-up title. Meanwhile, the women’s team of the North Central Command and the women’s team of the Northwestern Naval Command clinched the championship and runners-up positions of women's events respectively.

The newly constructed building for Seva Vanitha Yoghurt Project at SLNS Uththara was declared open by the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva along with the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs Arundathie Udithamala Jayanetti, on 07th Mar 2020.
