The last 03 naval personnel who had contracted COVID-19 and underwent treatment in hospital, were discharged from the Iranawila Hospital after gaining full recovery from the virus, confirmed by PCR tests, on 20^th July 2020.

The Navy launched several beach clean-up programmes in the Northern and Southern Naval Commands on 18^th and 19^th July 2020.

Another 02 naval personnel who had contracted COVID-19 and underwent treatment in hospitals, were discharged from them after gaining full recovery from the virus, confirmed by PCR tests, on 17^th July 2020.

Twenty four (24) individuals who were undergoing quarantine process at the Naval Quarantine Centres at Boossa Naval Base and in Kalpitiya area, left those centres upon completion of their quarantine process, on 15^th, 16^th and 17^th July 2020.

The Navy nabbed 03 persons for destroying mangrove shrubs, during a foot patrol conducted in Vankalai, Mannar on 17^th July 2020.

The Navy, during a patrol in the sea area of Salpeyaru on 16^th July 2020, apprehended 14 persons who engaged in illegal fishing with unauthorized nets. Along with these 14 persons 03 dinghies were also seized by the Navy.

The Navy managed to apprehend 08 suspects for possession of heroin and capsules of controlled substance, during 02 search operations conducted with the assistance of the Police in Kuchchaveli and Ambalantota on 16^th July 2020.
