The inauguration of the Colombo Naval Exercise (CONEX) 2019 was held onboard SLNS Sindurala, yesterday (26 January) and 07 ships of the SL Navy fleet, SLNS Sindurala, SLNS Sagara, SLNS Samudura, SLNS Prathapa, SLNS Suranimala, SLNS Mihikatha, SLNS Rathnadeepa with 02 two ships of Sri Lanka Coast Guard SLCGS Suraksha, SLCGS Samudraraksha, all together 09 ships and 08 Fast Attack Craft participated in the exercise at the seas off Colombo today (27 January).
