Under the guidance of the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, the members of NSVU organised a series of programmes to mark International Children's and Elders’ day both fell on 1st of October.

Initiating a concept of the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, an awareness programme on environmental conservation, presided over by the President of NSVU, was held at the Naval Preschool in Welisara this morning (30).

Going by a concept of the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, a medical clinic was conducted for the members of NSVU and Officers’ Children’s Club, for the second time at the Welisara Naval Hospital Complex yesterday (8).

The commencement of third term of the Naval Preschools which are located at SLNS Gemunu, SLNS Tissa and SLNS Dakshina under the patronage of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit, was held yesterday (29).

The Second storey of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit Computer Training Centre at SLNS Shilpa which was established following a concept of the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, was declared open by her yesterday (22).

A ‘Bodhi Pooja’ ceremony along with special meritorious activities was held under the patronage of the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne at the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy yesterday (22).

Going by yet another concept of the President of Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, the NSVU initiated a timely programme to look into the amenities of its members.

The Navy Officers’ Children’s Club attended a Golf coaching at Golf Grounds at SLNS Gemunu on 16th August 2016. The president of the Officers’ Children’s Club, Sathyajith Wijegunaratne also attended this event.

The Annual General Meeting of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU) was held under the precedence of the President of NSVU, Mrs. Yamuna Wijeguneratne at the Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake Auditorium at Naval Headquarters yesterday (11).

The members of Naval Officers’ Children’s Club, which was set up under the guidance and instruction of Mrs. Yamuna Wijegunaratne, the President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit (NSVU), paid a recreational visit to Hakgala on 30th July 2016.
