Another encounter in the first-round games of Inter-Club Rugby League tournament between Navy Sports Club (SC) and CR & FC was held at the Navy Rugby Grounds, Welisara on 11th February 2022. In the encounter, the Navy SC edged out CR & FC 18-13, recording another win for the season.

Another encounter in the first-round games of Inter-Club Rugby League tournament between Navy Sports Club (SC) and Police SC kicked off at the Police Park, Bambalapitiya on 29th January 2022. In the battle for supremacy, Navy SC triumphed over Police 12-00, and recorded a win for the season.

The Navy Football Club (FC), popularly known as Sea Hawks became the runner-up for the first time in the Super League 2021, the football championship held from April 2021 to January 2022.

The National Wrestling Championship-2022 was held at the National Youth Services Council, Maharagama on 22nd and 23rd January 2022. Exhibiting excellent performance in the tournament Sri Lanka Navy clinched the men’s title for the 12th consecutive time.

The 06th Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) Open Shooting Championship-2022 was held at the Sri Lanka Navy Small-bore Firing Range Complex in Welisara from 14th to 22nd January 2022. The overall championship of the tournament was won by SLN Musketry Pool.

The Commander’s Cup – 2022 golf tournament was held at the Eagles' Golf Links in China Bay, Trincomalee on 22nd January 2022. Keeping the flag flying, Sri Lanka Navy golfers clinched the ‘Eagle’s Challenge Trophy’ and a couple of other awards in the tournament, organized by Sri Lanka Air Force.

The competition was participated by renowned Lifesaving Clubs registered under the LSASL and 02 Navy teams took part in the competition. Making a clear victory over the rest of the opponents, Sri Lanka Navy clinched the title of the competition for the 05th time.

Sri Lanka Navy Sailing Club clinched the National Sailing Championship-2021organized by the Yachting Association of Sri Lanka (YASL) and the National Olympic Committee (NOC). The event was held in the alluring waters of Bolgoda on 10th and 11th December 2021.

Sri Lanka Navy Leading Women Sailor Gayanthika Abeyrathna set two new Sri Lanka records in women's 1500m and 5000m at the 99th National Athletics Championships held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium. The Asian Gold Medalist set these two new records in respective events held on 30th and 31st October 2021.

The Eastern Naval Command organized a water sport competition for the students and teachers of Tissa Vidyalaya in the Naval Dockyard, Trincomalee. The event was held in the Pepper Pot Jetty, inner harbour area Trincomalee on 05th April 2021. The tournament was organized by the 4th Fast Attack Flotilla with Seamanship School of Naval & Maritime Academy under the guidance of the Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral YN Jayarathna. The prime motive of this competition was to develop the skills of the future generation in water sports and enticing them to engage in this exciting sport discipline in the future.
